My life with cancer is difficult to live with and likely another example of the standard life with it, but 1 exception.  It's one of the world's rarest cancers ever.  The world's best hospital and leading in medical teaching, only sees about 4-6 cases of it each year, and there isn't really a plan for dealing with it.   My cancer is known as Sarcomatoid Carcinoma.   It is usually a lung cancer, but it ended up in my sinus cavity.   I am only the 5th person ever to have this cancer in this area.

It was rough and the symptoms came pretty early.  The beginning was about 2 years ago with a simple little toothache that lasted a long time, it was really rough and difficult and was really painful during night.   Went to a root canal specialist and a dentist and got the results, which showed nothing.   Dealt with the pain and and took some minor pain pills, and then it was really bad and things were rough still.  Then after that I went to an intern, and then he ordered a CAT scan right away, because it was numb in my face and that wasn't normal.    Went into a biopsy on my sinus soft tissue and bone 2 days later.   Was a rough and fairly sore biopsy and the lab studied it and then the results came in.

That was the fateful day that I learned that I had cancer.   Mine is known as Sarcomatoid Carcinoma.   It is typically a lung cancer.   It is also VERY aggressive and powerful.  That's how it's family works. The Sarcomatoid, which is only seen about 5-8 cases per year at max.   A very rough and difficult cancer that I had to fight and deal with up to this very day.

Then I had to start Chemo-therapy.   3 full months.  Which purpose was to contain the cancer.   It was a very grueling and rough 3 months.   Very simple little things that were unhealthy could send me to the ER and almost kill me.  The common cold also is as deadly as poison in that state.  I also got a little sick on chemo, that sent me to the ER and I had to have help breathing with oxygen and needed to have a little intervention that wasn't fun and not too well for the plans.  Got through that and had another scan.  Cancer shrunk just a little bit.

After that I went into surgery.  A long, rough, and invasive 14 hour surgery.   Very difficult too.  The surgeons even had a few complications in rebuilding because there was so much done and was very rough and hard.  Also some people had to leave early because they were worn out.   A tough and long surgery and only a few nurses and the primary doctors stayed through the full thing.   A great and rough test for all of them as surgeons and they said it was one of the toughest surgeries they did.

After that I was living in the hospital and dealing with the results of the surgery.  They took out the fibula and muscle in my leg and I have a huge incision area there today that is odd.   I wore a boot, use a catheter to go to the bathroom, had a feeding tube in nose, a breathing tube, which is called a trac, in my throat, drainage tubes, had about 4 IV's in each of my arms, and had to keep on draining blood in my throat very frequently.  Was very painful and awful.  Won't ever recommend it to anybody.  I also got a bed sore for sitting in a position too long. Not nice.   Also an odd bubble on my leg incision.   Very painful.

Then after that I got many things healed up and well, and went into a hotel just to re-coop and get well.   Made some nice friends that work there and got re-cooped well.  Now here today dealing with radiation.   And the side effects of that.  Mouth sores, lose of appetite, increases metabolism, and makes everything taste awful.  A really rough and difficult time now.   I am now pulling strong and trying not to be weak with the radiation.  After this, I'll heal well and be comfortable.   Then be well.   God will pull me through and hopefully this will end soon.
This is the story of my life with cancer. In short what I went through and am dealing with now. Very rough and difficult things I'm dealing with. I only can advise you this is very rough and difficult and only the strong and brave can handle it. Hope God blesses you all and hope none of you have cancer. It isn't fun and very heart-breaking in many moments. Can't help many things and sometimes pain pills, even the best, do nothing. Be strong, stay healthy, and hope all goes well for you. Also 1 note for you all. There are MANY secret and not healthy things everywhere in what we have, and fluoride is proven to be deadly and awful for teeth. Just a thing I think I should share. God bless and hope this life of mine is better soon after all I go through. I also am entering this in the contest mentioned here. [link] it's physical.
